ProMobile Theme - Template Blog SEO Friendly & Responsive
Google announced late last month in very simple language – mobile search is a big deal. In essence, the major search engines are letting us know they are going to start giving search benefits to websites that have mobile integration or responsive design.
We’ve been encouraging mobile sites and responsive design for years, simply because we want to make things easier for site visitors. At the end of the day, what’s the use of getting traffic to your website if the users find the experience slow and painful?
In fact – SEP only makes responsive sites now. That’s how strongly we believe in the importance of responsive and mobile-friendly programming.
We have known for some time now mobile is so important that we have been refusing to make non-mobile-friendly sites for more than a year because it does such a disservice to our clients. With this announcement, we are doubling down on our responsive focus, ensuring both mobile and tablet users have the best experience possible.
If you are doing any SEO work, but your site is not responsive, or you do not have a mobile-friendly site, your efforts are about to become less and less effective. If your site is not mobile friendly, it’s time to wake up!
Is it too late if your site isn’t responsive?
We know this change to Google’s algorithms is happening in late April. It is not too late to get mobile-friendly, and it won’t be too late in April either. This is a big change, and a surprisingly translucent one, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t see it coming.
We are constantly evaluating our SEO strategies and making slight tweaks to our clients’ campaigns to ensure that we stay on top of the most up-to-date best SEO practices. Our clients know we carefully re-evaluate their strategy every month as we make small changes constantly.
Starting from scratch, or realizing you’ve made bad SEO decisions in the past doesn’t mean you can’t make your SEO goals. It’s never too late to start or fix any problems in your SEO marketing. You may have a longer climb or your process may start slow because of this, but we firmly believe that with consistent attention, you can fix any SEO issues.
If you are concerned about whether your site is mobile friendly, or whether your internet marketing is keeping up to date with the ever-changing search algorithms, give us a call at 800-800-8314 and we can run a comparison on your site to see where you stand and whether where you are standing is where you want to be.
